A few tips to maximize the emotional appeal of your home during evening showings.

Use multiple types of lighting to set the tone:

Pot lights on dimmers

Under valence lighting turned on

Table lamps

Chandeliers

Pendant lighting

Glass door ambient-lit cabinetry

Keep lighting in sort and warm tones

Fireplace(s) on

No  fragrant candles or plug in air fresheners - can cause headaches for many. Instead grind coffee beans, zest a lemon, back something. Those scents are nurturing.

Make sure all walkways & front steps are well lit.

Extra bonus for landscape lighting or uplighting on tree trunks adding depth and interest to the yard.
