Westmount
Westmount runs from the Thames River in the north to Southdale Road in the south. Close to the river, Westmount is home to the Civic Garden Complex as well as Springbank Gardens, formally known as Wonderland Gardens where London’s famous Guy Lombardo performed with his "big band." Westmount Shopping Centre has been the area’s main commercial centre since the 1960s. Recently, new commercial development around Southdale and Wonderland has formed into a new commercial hub for the district. Westmount is a popular area for many of London’s recent immigrant populations including the Columbian and Lebanese communities. Westmount is home to a number of parks including the Westmount Lions Park, Jesse Davidson Park, Viscount Park and Reservoir Park.
