Riverbend
Located at the far west end of the city, just north of Oxford Street, this area gets its name from the Thame's River's large curve northward. The area is surrounded on three sides by the Thames River with the Riverbend Golf Community is nestled in the middle.
Kains Woods Environmentally Significant Area serves as a backdrop to the community. Several kilometre’s of winding trails can be reached from different access points in the area which is home to many birds, including Bald Eagles, Killdeer, Great Blue Heron, and Wild Turkey. If you’re lucky, you might also see White-tailed Deer, Eastern Cottontail and unusual amphibians including Grey Tree Frog and Yellow-spotted Salamander in the area.
