Oakridge
Oakridge is located just west of West London and stretches from the CN tracks in the north the Thames River in the south and Sanatorium Rd. in the west to Wonderland Rd. to the east. The mainly residential district is focused around the commercial hub at the intersection of Hyde Park Rd. and Oxford Street. The Thames Valley (E.V. Buchanan) golf course is located at the southern portion of the district and is one of London’s oldest publicly owned golf courses. Oakridge is also home to the Sifton Bog Environmentally Significant Area. It’s a great place to go for a hike and escape from the city but be sure to wear your rain boots!
